Description Of Program/ Project
- 41 displaced families currently living in temporary shelters have found better shelter options for livelihood at Alital Rural Municipality ward no-7 Dadeldhura.
- Disaster relief, response preparedness and adaptation activities that can directly reach at least 1,375 people from 250 families of Kailali and Dadeldhura (4 local levels).
- Capacity building program will be conducted for the working group and local community leaders regarding measures to be taken before, during and after the disaster in the flood and landslide areas of Dadeldhura and Kailali districts ( 4 local levels).
- For the families who were at high risk from flood and landslides in Dadeldhura and Kailali districts and who may be homeless, materials that can be used during emergencies such as blanket sets, Pu-foam, mosquito nets, Waterproof Tarpaulin etc will be supported.
- A coordination meeting will be conducted for the sustainability of the program and to establish a continuous relationship with the local government and associations working in the disaster area.
- Dadeldhura District Alital Rural Municipality Ward No. 7 for the high-risk families who are currently living in tents due to flood in Balaucha and Owa villages, construction of cages for daily wages along with Poultry farming as a source of income will be provided to them.
- MPDS will prepare a simple M&E plan based on a humanitarian and preparedness action plan.
